Do you know what we have in common with Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela? We are all looking to change the way world is. The only thing that separates us from them is that we do not know what to change.

What if l told you, that the only thing that needs to change is our mindset.

This mindset is what Round Table India has changed for all of us at Kota Round Table 281. We are a team of young and dynamic businessmen who believe in leaving a world better than the one which we have inherited. Like most of us at our age we had no idea how to go about doing that, till we joined the RTI movement and founded KRT281 in 2016.

Ever since then, we have undertaken numerous community service activities. We have organized plantation drives, conducted eye check-up camps in Govt. schools, conducted blood donation drives, organized eminent speaker events and have been actively involved in natural calamity response. The cause that remains closest to our heart is education of underprivileged children. The thought that terrifies us the most is, "What if the cure to all the sufferings of the world is locked inside an uneducated mind?”. An educated child is not just a provider for the family, but is also the torch bearer for the future. This is the motivation behind Round Table India’s long term national project ’Freedom Through Education’.

Round Table India has constructed 22 classrooms and 2 toilet blocks across 7 Government schools of Kota. In addition to construction, we also take care of smaller requirements of a school, like benches, water coolers, electrical fittings etc. For our contribution in the field of education we have been receiving the prestigious Shiksha Bhushan Bhamashah award from the Government of Rajasthan for past 3 years.

We would be amiss if we do not mention the support we have received from our partners in this journey. Be it associating for a common cause or monetary collaboration for construction of classrooms, citizens and businesses of Kota have been at the forefront of our common crusade to make our city and our world better place. We would like to thank all of them wholeheartedly. We are volunteers who are always looking for more partners. because our purpose is not just to provide service but also to raise awareness.
